Landings at the Douglas Hyde Gallery

Landings will be installed in Gallery 2 of The Douglas Hyde Gallery, Trinity College, Dublin, July 22nd – August 29th. Visitors can listen to ‘Landings’ on headphones and read from copies of the book. Also on display are five new text works that I have produced specifically for the exhibition, exploring the linguistic and toponymic heritage of the Lancashire landscape.

In Gallery 1 is an exhibition entitled Interlude (Aspects of Irish landscape painting), and there is also a beautiful display of books published by the gallery, which is worth the visit in its own right. I’ll be there on the opening night, between 6 and 7.30pm, on July 21st.
